The Health Sub Committee are at present investigating the incidence of the above condition in the Flatcoated Retriever. It must be stressed that this investigation is in its infancy and all findings are being submitted to the Kennel Club for further advice and guidance from their Geneticists.  When more is known, a further statement will be issued.
