FCRS Open Field Trial 13th Dec 2021

The Flatcoated Retriever Society held their Open (Breed only) Field Trial at Ampton, Bury St Edmunds on Monday 13th December 2021 by kind permission of the Turner Family, Mr Peter Rushbrook and Alan Hammond.
Judges were Mr Phil Allen (A3), Mr Jim Gale (A44) , Mr Richard Beckerleg (A2812) and Mr Craig Horwill (B2589).

Many thanks to Andy and Jenny Campbell for providing the guns who shot well and kept the trial moving, Skinners Field & Trial for their sponsorship.. Thank you to David Garman and Andrew Wilson for presenting the birds for the guns. Andrew Wilson was the society’s link to Ampton, without his much appreciated help the day would not have gone so smoothly.

The Society’s patron, Shirley Johnson whose late husband Peter was the FCRS Field Trial secretary for many years and often ran trials at Ampton, kindly presented the awards at the end of the day. Graham Stanley ran the day which ran smoothly with his experience. Thank you to all who helped on the day.
