Flatcoated Retriever Society Breed Championship Show and Open Show – Saturday 8th June 2024 Report.

Flatcoated Retriever Championship Show Critiques – Judge Frank Kane and Junior Handling Critique Judge Helen Fox

Flatcoated Retriever Society Open Show Critiques – Judge Mike Masters

The Show Secretary and the Show Sub Committee would like to congratulate all those who competed yesterday at the Show. The day started a bit overcast, so we braved the weather for an outdoor show, however the rains came so we all dashed inside and there we stayed!

We had an amazing sponsorship with Yumove, who provided bags and prizes for all winners along with some beautiful sashes for those achieving the best of awards, they also had a stand at the show where exhibitors could go and speak to Gemma, see their products and obtain advice.

Ann Kilminster donated a lovely statue for the BIS winner of the championship show and Gill Smitherman donated tea lights to winners of all classes ( after a small accident this week). Once again, we had amazing rosettes made by Trophies 4 Everything aka Caroline Chambers; all were very much appreciated by the exhibitors.

The raffle made a profit of approx. £227, so thank you for all those who donated prizes.

Thank you to the judges Mr Frank Kane (CH Show), Mr Mike Masters (Open Show) and Ms Helen Fox Junior Handling.

Big thank you to the stewards, committee and back-office team who worked very hard to make this happen along with Victoria Goldberg who helped out at short notice.
