Our Vice Chair Jan Egginton and Field Trial Secretary Jane Manley will be standing down from their position at the AGM although Jan will be re standing as Secretary/Coordinator for the Rescue, Rehoming and Welfare Scheme. All other Officers are willing to re stand.
Charlotte Wear, Lauren Broome and Jenny Campbell complete their terms of office at the AGM. Charlotte and Lauren are willing to re stand but Jenny will not be doing so. Anna, who was co opted for a year to fill the vacancy created when Sharon Henesey was elected as Hon Secretary, is also willing to stand for Committee.
There are therefore vacancies on the General Committee for a Vice Chair, a Field Trial Secretary, and four General Committee positions, three, three year terms and one, one year term.
Anyone who has been a member of the Society for at least three years may stand for a position on the General Committee. Any member wishing to stand must send either a letter or email to the Hon Secretary stating that he/she is willing to stand and submit a curriculum vitae by 31st January 2025. The candidate must have a proposer and seconder both of whom need to submit a letter or email to the Hon Secretary stating that they are willing to propose and second the nominee also by 31st January 2025.
