It has become very expensive to publish the Yearbook, Newsletter and Membership List due to the escalating costs for paper, printing and postage, and therefore the General Committee have reviewed all three publications and have made the following decisions
Yearbook
The Yearbook contains permanent records of members’ achievements, results and important information, and also serves as a valuable point of reference. Therefore it was decided to continue to produce the Yearbook annually but in a more streamlined version. Some topics that have been included each year will be moved to the website but still included in the Yearbook at regular intervals.
Newsletter
The Newsletter will no longer be published but will be transferred to the website, and anyone wishing to contribute news and articles etc will need to send them to the website administrator to be posted on to the website. Some of the content eg working tests and results currently in the Newsletter will in future be included in the Yearbook.
Membership List
It was decided that the Membership list doesn’t need to be an annual publication and therefore after it is produced in 2025 it will be published every third year. It will however continue to be updated on an ongoing basis so any changes of address etc will still need to be notified to the Membership Secretary.
