  WALKED UP TRAINING IN DERBYSHIRE * A day has been booked on October 6th 2021 for those interested in preparing for trialing or want to experience a walked up shoot day. Dogs must be used to retrieving game. This is a small day 20-30 with only 4 handlers aiming to have a minimum of 5 retrieves per person. Obedience Results: Crufts 2017

In the finals of the KCGCDS Special Pre-Beginners stakes Ruth Stevens and CASAM LEONORA came 2nd. In the Inter-regional competition Rosamond Weddell with BITCON LUTHER were reserves for the South & South West team. BASC Working Gundog Competitions

BASC Tower Bird Trophy: The British Association for Shooting and Conservation gives four national trophies for Gundog Field Trials, named in memory of the late Noel M (Tim) Sedgwick. The trophies are awarded at the end of the field trial season to the most successful retriever, spaniel, HPR breed and pointer/setter aged 4 years or younger during the field trial season ending 1st February each year. Obedience News – Fantastic Result!

Fantastic news, Caroline Eley and six year old Tangle (Kywidden Morvena) came first in the Championship  C Bitch class winning the ticket at Cippenham Championship Obedience Show on the 3rd July .  I think Caroline is the first person to gain an Obedience ticket with a Flatcoat (please correct me if I am wrong) and it is an amazing achievement.( She needs to win three ticket classes under three different judges to become an Obedience Champion.)  This means that they have qualified to compete in the Obedience ring at Crufts next year where the top winning Obedience Dogs and Bitches…
