Committee Positions at the AGM

Following the misunderstanding at the last AGM I have set out below the correct procedures for potential nominees.

Anyone can stand for a position on the FCRS committee when they have been a member of the Society for 3 years.

OFFICER POSITIONS.

All Officers are re elected annually at the AGM. For any member wishing to stand for an Officer’s position the following is the correct procedure:

The following should be sent to the Hon. Secretary by 31st January in the year of the AGM.

A letter of proposal of the nominee
A letter seconding the nominee
A letter from the nominee confirming willingness to stand for the position
A CV from the nominee

COMMITTEE POSITION.

Committee members are elected for a term of 3 years after which they can stand for re election.

The procedure is exactly the same as that of election of the Officers and all nominations etc. must be sent to the Secretary by 31st January.

N.B. In accordance with the Constitution and Rules no nominations can be accepted after 31st January.

Jenny Bird
Hon. Sec.
