Eight teams took part in the Euro Challenge at this year's Game Fair with each one being made up of one Labrador, one Golden Retriever and one other Retriever breed; the Judges were Mike Newsam and Graham Stephenson. Flatcoats ran in four of the teams: England (Lisa Harris with Rondix Woodcock of Hawksthorn), Belgium (Geert Strubbe with Moonworkers Ally), Germany (Martin Kuse with Ger Ch Aragon Umbra Fida) and the Netherlands (Niels Broszat with Lowland Black Energy Fire Flint).
The GB team won and Niel Broszat's Lowland Black Energy Fire Flint was the highest scoring other Retriever breed.
