Congratulations to Jacqui Thomas whose Tygwyn Ray of Light (bitch dob 23.07.12 – bred by Jacquie Thomas) gained her KC Working Gundog Certificate at an event held by Ashburnam Gundog Group at Ashburnham, Battle, Sussex on 20th September 2015. (Sire: Swantonwood Lowry at Wrensmead Dam: Tygwyn Ulmus Glabra) Assessors Mr G Burgess, Ms T Stapley.
 
Congratulations to Jill Thompson whose Acestar Mischief Maker (Kye) d.o.b. 23/04/2013 (Sire Mr Quizzical x Dam Casblaidd Kind-A-Classy bred by Lisa Warren) passed his KC Working Gundog Certificate on 16th November 2015 at 19 months of age at an AV test on the Northumbrian moors.  He has also completed and passed his KC Good Citizen Awards up to and including Gold Level, passing his Gold Award at just 15 months of age.  Also her other dog Gunoak Onyx (Gibbs) d.o.b. 01/03/14 (Sire: Rainesgift Over The Moon x Dam Braidwynn Bizzie Bee At Gunoak bred by Mr David Ashcroft) passed his KC Working Gundog Certificate on the 20th November 2015 at just short of 21 months of age at an AV test in Marlborough.  He has also completed and passed his KC Good Citizen Awards up to and including Gold Award at 6 months of age. On Saturday 8th August SEGS (South Eastern Gundog Society) held a KC Working Gundog Certificate on dummies at Isenhurst Estate by kind permission of Gilly Nickols.  The assessors for the day were Diana Harrison and Martin Bagg. I am pleased to say that the two flatcoated retrievers who passed were Liz Beeney’s bitch Possingworth Kamea and Sharon Henesey’s Swantonwood Lowry at Wrensmead JW who also passed his SGWC in January 2015 and his SDC on 28th October 2014.

 

Another fantastic WGC success – Hilary Brights’ Polgara A New Day at Midnight (Kulawand in a Pickle x Polgara Enchanted Shadow) passed his WGC last month. Earlier in the year he passed his Show Gundog Working Certificate and his Gold Good Citizen Award. All before his third birthday. Congratulations Hilary.

 

Donascimento Danilo from Casblaidd owned by Caroline Hewison gained her Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate on Saturday 8th August 2015.  The assessment has held by Gundog Club of North Wales and the Assessors were Anthea Lawrence and Jenny Menage, venue: Dee Bank, Bryn-y-pys Estate, Overton on Dee near Wrexham.  (Sire: Maddistream Indigo Jack at Casblaidd Dam: Mystical Eclipse at Donascimento, d.o.b. 1st May 2013; breeder W. and B. Battison, handler/owner).
