Here are the results of the FCRS (Southern area) and the Southern Golden Retriever Society’s joint working test.
We had a lovely day, in good company as always, at this joint Flatcoat/Golden working test. Thank you to all those who came and put their training to the test.
Special Puppy was won by Jane Manley with Lenyam Kite FCR. Anne Strachan with Hanans Golden Girl GR was second, Keith Manley with Lenyam Enzo FCR, third, and Viv Gatter with Larksease Black Bryony FCR, fourth.
Lisa Clements with Metalbridge Gadbourn GR was awarded first in NDNH
Diane Heywood with Cotswold Rose At Houndswood FCR won the Novice competition with Ann Gladwin and Longwood Timber GR, a close second.
Well done to all the competitors who achieved or attempted some challenging tests. Thank you to Dick Pettett for his organisation and planning. Many, many thanks to all the helpers who made the day possible, to our judges Glynis Hillier and Mandy Smith for their patience, forbearance and advice and to the landowners and keeper for making the day possible.
Looking forward to next year when this event will hopefully be hosted by the SGRS.
