The Flatcoated Retriever Society thanks everyone who came to our AGM on Saturday 23rd March. Forty one  members attended and thirty six apologies were received.

The following officers were elected unopposed for a further term of office;

Health  Secretary Miss Liz Branscombe

Our Secretary Mrs Roz Bellamy stood down at the AGM, and as there were two nominations for the position a postal ballot had been held. This was won by Mrs Sharon Henesey.

There were three committee vacancies, all  for a three year term. Mrs Shirley Oxford and Miss Sarah Egginton having completed their three years, were willing to stand again, and Mrs Claire Leavy had been nominated for the third position. All three were elected unopposed.

As Mrs Sharon Henesey was successful in the ballot for Secretary a committee vacancy was created. The General Committee have therefore decided to co opt Mrs Anna Crampton on to the General Committee, and this will be for a term of two years

The Society’s Trophies were presented by our Patron Mrs Shirley Johnson.

The Society Agility Trophy:    Aquawood Blithe Spirit Of Blakanis owned by Miss Jan Grayson

Culmquill Trophy:   Maddistream Black Powder Of Wolfthistle owned by Mr Andrew Sweeney

Best Newcomer Award ( Working)  awarded to Mrs Rochelle Richards with Hopevalley Morning River through Kimberfield.
